Description
Besan Laddoo is a classic Indian sweet made during festivals. The nutty flavor of roasted gram flour combined with Desidhara A2 Ghee creates a rich and melt-in-the-mouth dessert.
Ingredients
- 2 cups besan (gram flour)
- ½ cup Desidhara A2 Ghee
- ¾ cup powdered sugar
- ½ tsp cardamom powder
- Chopped almonds and pistachios
Instructions
1. Heat the Ghee
Add Desidhara A2 Ghee to a thick-bottom pan and allow it to melt slowly on low heat.
2. Roast the Besan
Add besan to the ghee and roast continuously on low flame. Stir constantly to prevent burning and roast until it turns golden and aromatic.
3. Cool the Mixture Slightly
Remove the pan from heat and allow the mixture to cool slightly so that the sugar can mix properly without melting completely.
4. Add Sugar and Flavor
Mix powdered sugar and cardamom powder into the roasted besan. Stir well so the sweetness distributes evenly.
5. Shape the Laddoos
Take small portions of the mixture and roll them between your palms to form round laddoos.
6. Garnish with Nuts
Press chopped almonds and pistachios on top for added flavor and visual appeal.
Serving Suggestion
